Episode 134: Use Your Business To Travel The World And Live The Dream With Brandon Lazar

Would you like to have a business where during the offseason you can take off to Mt Everest, Mt Kilimanjaro, Bungee Jump in South Africa or take a motorcycle trip from East to South Africa? Would that be amazing?

Fortunately today, in the world we live in, we are no longer bounded by our geographical limitations.

Brandon Lazar’s story is going to touch you in the heart and you’ll absolutely be able to relate to him.

My dad was my inspiration. He worked for the man for 25 years. My parents are very generous, but frugal with spending.
During his 26th year of working for the man, he went out and started a sawmill engineering company. After only 10 years of running the business he sold it and it completely whopped his previous 25 years with what the results were. It was incredible.

I have a business degree program and started 2 business simultaneously during my first year of the program. The first one is a concession business. We go to largest trade shows, outdoor festivals and serve fresh squeezed lemonade and $10 sunglasses. During the Spring/Fall, I have a gutter cleaning and window cleaning business.

Work harder or work smarter. – Allan F. Mogensen

Look at the world like a dream, not a destination.

The value is in the massive action, Brandon scaled his business insanely in just 2 seasons.

Brandon sees the offseason as a tremendous opportunity to work on the business instead of in the business. Whatever went well and whatever didn’t go well, you can come up with systems and a game plan to improve the next year.

It’s in the prep, planning, tactics, system, understanding rules of the game, etc. We break down the systems and revamp them every offseason.

You are your own biggest competitor and enemy. Stop internalizing the fear and looking at everyone else. It all comes down to what you want to put out there.
