Episode 123: Let Mike Callahan Shock Your System

The Only Constant in our world is Change. Don’t get left behind.

As we look back on the year there’s one thing we can all agree on:

Business isn’t easy,

but there are a few key things that can help make it easier.

Perceived value is everything,
and automating a business is essential to growth and sustainability.

The devil is in the details. The little things make your business a nightmare to compete with. Putting systems in place, understanding the finances of your business, and figuring out all the small things that you need is a tremendous amount of work. However, without these, you will likely crumble.

Work smarter, not harder, but tie quality control into this as well.
Get your employees to buy into something greater than a paycheck and align your goals with theirs to give them something to work towards.

Articulate what you want. Be very clear on what you want and what your mountaintop is. Figure out what your BHAG (big hairy audacious goal) is and be very transparent about it.

If you do nothing else and haven’t done these baseline things, nothing else matters. You MUST have this foundation laid down to begin with, it is everything. It’s not easy and you need to put the work in. Get down, roll up your sleeves and get it done.

There are an epic amount of gold nuggets in this podcast and you will be shocked by all the awesomeness.

Using trackers in our vans and charging from minute to minute has helped a lot for us.
