What I Wish I Knew When I Started My Business

Episode 314 – What I Wish I Knew When I Started My Business

Today’s episode is from a Facebook live that I made. I’m in Boise Idaho, and it’s the 4 things I wish I would have known!

If you are a small business owner, there’s one thing you know for sure – that it’s not easy!

Unless you are in Stage 5 with a well-oiled machine.

It can be hard, stressful and be tough on relationships. Sometimes my employees would make more than me as the business owner. It’s all about learning to navigate the different issues as you go.

But, you can also learn from other business owners. Yo don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Just take what others who are successful have done and pivot it to your business.

Today, I am going to share with you 4 things I wish I could have known when I started my business.

  1. I wish that I knew that building a successful company takes time…I thought it was quick. It got really hard the first year, working dark to dark then coming home and reading forums to try and learn. I only did $24k the first year. I didn’t know what I was doing.
  2. Not all advice is created equal. We don’t have advice overload, we have opinion overload.

Are you interested in hearing more in-depth on these first 2 steps and hearing what the other 2 things I wish I knew? Well, you’ll just have to tune in and listen to this quick, 17-minute episode!
